D.16.2.6 fVectorP
Syntax:
Polymake::fVectorP( polytope p )
Type:
- intvec
Purpose:
- the f-vector of p.
Note:
- the computation works via an f-vector computation of a cone whose intersection with a hyperplan yields p,
hence the return might not make sense intuitively if p is not bounded.
However it can be regarded as the f-vector of p in (R')^n, where R' denotes the two point compactification of R
and n is the dimension of the ambient space of p.
