Well as it worked out in a test singular has no problem with addressing more than 4GB memory.

I would like to know whether Singular can allocated more than 4GB on 64 bit architectures?

I am calculating a really big Groebner Basis and may grant Singular more than 30GB of memory on the university cluster.
Is it able to allocate that much?

For those who might have experience with using Singular with SAGE:
Might there arise problems because of SAGE?
Is Python able to allocate such a big amount of memory on 64 bit architectures?

Thanks in advance.
