Dear Benyamin,
Please take a look at: http://www.singular.uni-kl.de/Manual/3-1-3/sing_265.htm#SEC305 and http://singular-team.blogspot.com/2010/12/singular-memory.html

Hi, i don't know the answer in the singular way, but you could consider to use some external program to monitor your memory usage (maybe top, or ps on a unix system) and maybe write some script to find the peak, or whatever you are searching for. Still, if there is a more accurate way to do it in singular, i admit using it would be more appropriate. Ben

Hi;
I like to see the amount of used memory during a computation. I have used option(mem) but it doesnt monitor the used memory for all of my computations. Would any one please help me to find the used memory?
Thank you.
