Dear Guillermo
Can you please provide the full input you have used when the segfault occured? If it's in a large file you can also create a trac ticket here: http://www.singular.uni-kl.de/index.php/singular-report-bugs.html and attach that file to the ticket.
Thanks for your report
Martin

Just to inform that I installed the last distribution of Singular for Mac and this error occurred:

Code:
> ideal D3=(Pf(M3));
> list L;
> L=minAssGTZ(D3);
Singular : signal 8 (v: 3150):
current line:>>  q = facstd(i);<<
Segment fault/Bus error occurred (r:1351327351)
please inform the authors
trying to restart...

I tried again and the error didn't appear this time.
D3 is a very large not standard basis ideal (around one thousand generators) in a local ring ring with 11 variables which may split in 21 irreducible components.
