Ever since I found what I needed: Rabinovich trick. How to exclude unwanted solutions from a calculation. They say that the trick renders the calculation more cumbersome because it adds a variable. I don't think so, but have no personal experience with it.

Having ideal A and B, I want only those solutions of A that are not in B. How can I do that? Basically I am trying to exclude 0, 1, -1 as solutions. Is there a simple way to do that?
