Thanks for the bug report. Seems that the static version of readline does not work on Windows (it works on other systems). ftp://jim.mathematik.uni-kl.de/repo/cyg ... 2-1.tar.xzis substituted by a new version (with dynamic linked libreadline).

Hi,
When I start singular4-1-2 and write somthing then I press the backspace button in the keyboard to delete what I wrote or corrct it, Singular gives me spaces and start to be confused instead of deleting.
I haven't faced this problem with the old version of Singular.
Do you have this problem? and any help?
