Topic review - Raytraced Surface Window

Post subject:  Raytraced Surface Window  Reply with quote
Hi,

I´m relative new to surfex and Singular.

I have a Windows XP SP2 System und using cygwin emulator for Singular und surfex. I start surfex by calling 'surfex' in the command line of cywin. Then surfex starts and I get the three windows:
surfex, raytraced surface window, the triangulation window.

see picture:
Image

What someone recognizes first, ist that the buttons in the left upper corner (marked with a red square) have no images an are very small. But they work so far...

The main problem occurs after inserting equations and curves:
After the second or thrid euqation or click or when rotating the surface in the triangulation, the Raytraced Surface Window froses, so nothing changes.

Saving the project, restarting surfex, loading projekt doesnt help, since the Raytraced Surface Window is frosen again.

Reinstallation (full Version 0.90.000) doesn´t help too.

Can anybody help me? thx a lot. :D
