To add to this: I've had another instance running std that's gone over 8GB with no issue, so it seems it must be a slimgb bug?

Out of memory error? |
|
|
I'm using Singular 3-1-3 on Ubuntu 64-bit.
I have plenty of RAM available (and Ubuntu can see/use it with no problem), but Singular (running slimgb) quits with an out of memory error at approx. 7GB:
System 7197576k:8475662k Appl -1312758k/8510335k Malloc 671112k/0k Valloc 6526464k/8510335k Pages 1631497/119 Regions 12747:12747
As far as I can tell the OS isn't imposing any sort of process memory limit.
Is this a bug, my configuration failure, or some sort of internal limit?
