Topic review - NTL library missing
Author Message
Post subject:  Re: NTL library missing  Reply with quote
If Singular uses NTL or not is decided during configure.
If you installed libntl-dev after the configure run,
you have to repeat configure and make.
Also you should check config.log for entries about NTL
and the resulting Singular, if called as
"Singular -v"
should report something like:
Singular for x86_64-Linux version 4.0.1 (4012, 64 bit) Feb 12 2015 17:30:44
with
GMP(6.0.0),NTL(5.5.2),FLINT(2.4.4),factory(@(#) factoryVersion = 4.0.1),
static readline,Plural,DBM,
...
Hope that helps,

Hans

Dear Sir/Madam,

When I tried to perform primary decomposition of an ideal , I received an error stating that NTL library is missing . For this I again installed the libntl-dev package, but the error was not resolved.

Machine specifications: Debian 7.8, 64bit with Gnome 3.4.2

Kindly, help me in this regard.
