One can only have one degBound - as soon as the computation reached that degree,
it is stopped.
But one can have different weights for the variables, degBound honors these:
Code:
ring R=QQ(a,b,c,x,y,z),wp(5,5,5,2,2,2);
degBound=10;
....
std(...)

Maybe that is sufficient for your purpose.

Hello Singular community,

is there a was to set different degBounds within the same syz command?
example:
solve (a x,b y^2,c xzy ) . (v1,v2,v3)=0, for v1,v2,v3 in variables a,b,c,x,y,z
allowing x,y and z only up to degree 2, and a,b,c up to degree 5

(Obviously this example is just for illustrative purposes, not what I actually want to solve)
