I found a file called
Singular-3-0-0-ppcMac-darwin.tar.gz
in http://www.mathematik.uni-kl.de/ftp/pub ... lar/devel/

hopefully it's the right one.
Currently I'm running it; by the way, slimgb is just great!

thanks for good work,
Dmitrii

PS. by the way, http://www.singular.uni-kl.de/distribution.html
still says version 2.0
IMHO it should be linked instead to
http://www.singular.uni-kl.de/Singular-3-0.html
