Any one knows how to compute the Smith normal form of a matrix whose entries are in k[t], where char k=p?

Thanks,

Hi, this should be possible with the new library "jacobson.lib" by Kristina Schindelar, which will appear in the coming release (so, very soon). The corresponding function is called "smith". Actually the ideas we use do not depend on the ground field. I would appreciate if you send us or post here some examples you're interested in.
