when solving motion on surface, there are two differentiation equations with repect to two variables? How to solve it in singular? Any books mentioned the procedure to solve them? |

Hard to answer such a vague question. Do you mean the Langrage equations? Singular is mainly for computing with algebraic equations (objects) but not for solving differential equations, |

Hi, please post here the system you want to solve. Some parts of Singular can be used to solve ordinary/partial differential equations, mostly linear. Though it all depends on your system. Regards,Viktor |
