Post subject: Can not install Singular with emacs
PostPosted: Sun Jul 09, 2017 6:03 am
Dear all,
I am a newbie of Singular. I use Maple and CoCoa before but want to use Singular.
I followed instruction to install Singular and use that with Emacs with Windows system. I installed Singular with cygwin folder and install emacs with emacs folder. After that I tried many ways to lauch ESingular but that does not work.
Please any one can guide me step by step such that I can work with Singular.
Thanks you so much in advanced.
Yours,
Giang

On Windows, the used emacs must be an emacs from cygwin
(otherwise Singular and emacs cannot communicate with each other).
Optionally, but recommended: start X11.
Then use ESingular to start Singular within emacs.
